RB Rail, the joint venture of the three Baltic countries for the implementation of the Rail Baltic railway project, on February 12 signed a work project for the design of the a section of Rail Baltic from Parnu to the Estonian-Latvian border.
The signing of the contract marks the start of design work on the final section of Rail Baltic's main line in Estonia. The contract will be signed by Agnis Driksna, interim CEO of RB Rail, and German consortium Obermeyer Planen + Beraten GmbH and Spain's Prointec S.A. representative Jose Manuel Lendoiro, RB Rail said.
