Following the best international practices to inform society about the project progress and ongoing activities, RB Rail AS, the joint venture of the Rail Baltica project, has launched a digital information center that all interested parties can visit and get more information regarding benefits, route and other aspects of the Rail Baltica project.
The digital information center website is divided in different sections, which provides an opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with the project in short summary and understand the benefits that the new railway line will provide during the construction period and after the start of operation. It fulfills the goal to ensure transparency, inform society and maintain circulation of relevant facts and figures.
An interactive map illustrates the route and every railway section in all Baltic countries covering already undertaken and planned activities of all parties involved in the Rail Baltica project, both the information from Rail Baltica Joint Venture and national implementing bodies - Rail Baltic Estonia, Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas, Lietuvos Geleženkeliai and Rail Baltica Statyba. It depicts not only the railway tracks, but also provides additional information for each section, including the status, estimated completion time of the current activity and the most notable structures and technical details, according to the preliminary design. Additionally, for each section description contact information has been provided to send in questions regarding the project, railway sections and infrastructure.
Along with the new information center, RB Rail AS has launched a public information campaign in all Baltic States that presents the main facts and benefits of the high-speed railway in the region and Europe.
