Lithuanian prosecutors are mulling launching a pre-trial investigation in to the purchase by around ten companies of fertilizers from Russia's Minudobreniya, which allegedly violates the EU's sanctions against Russia.
"This is the stage of investigation of the submitted materials. The decision on the launch of a pre-trial investigation has not been made yet. Activities of up to ten companies are being assessed during the investigation stage," Elena Martinoniene, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General's Office, said on December 13.
