Probes continue into 15 MPs who have applied for security clearances

The Constitutional Protection Bureau continues probing fifteen Saeima members who have applied for security clearances, the bureau informed LETA. So far, 27 Saeima members have been issued security clearances. Probes into fifteen more MPs still continue, while another sixteen Saeima members who require security clearances have not yet applied to the Constitutional Protection Bureau. Meanwhile. 36 MPs do not need security clearances in their work. Six Saeima members have been denied security clearances.
