RIGA - Latvian President Egils Levits during a meeting with Hungarian President Katalin Novak on Monday highly appreciated Hungary's planned participation in a NATO airspace policing mission over Latvia this year.
As LETA was told at the Latvian president's office that Levits met with the Hungarian president at Riga Castle on Monday to discuss cooperation in the European Union (EU), NATO and the Bucharest Nine (B9) format.
During the meeting, Levits praised Hungary's planned participation in the NATO airspace policing mission over Latvia.
The Hungarian president not only met with Levits but also attended the Three Seas Initiative Summit, which is taking place in Riga on Monday and Tuesday.
