RIGA - The Pauls Stradins Museum of the History of Medicine has taken down a poster of a transformed face of Russian President Vladimir Putin fused with a skull, the museum posted on its Twitter account.

The museum said that the poster has been badly damaged by rain and wind and had been taken down to find a more permanent solution for the upcoming autumn weather. The museum also stressed that the protest is not over - "together for Ukraine, together against Putin".

Last March, the Museum of the History of Medicine put up a poster by Kriss Salmanis in front of the Russian Embassy. The image was made for the cover of the March 3, 2022 issue of Ir magazine. It was accompanied by the inscription "You reap what you sow".
