RIGA/TALLINN/VILNIUS - In the week after the New Year holidays the Baltic blue chips index OMX Baltic Benchmark GI (OMXBBGI) decreased 0.81 per cent to 643.1 points but the total turnover grew by 80 per cent compared to the previous week to 2.944 million euros.
Lithuanian knitwear maker Utenos Trikotazas was the biggest gainer on the Baltic main lists, soaring 28.5 per cent to close the week at 0.514 euros. Lithuanian energy company Lietuvos Energijos Gamyba jumped 4.32 per cent to 0.7 euros, and Lithuanian dairy company Pieno Zvaigzdes climbed 2.33 per cent to 1.32 euros...
