Populations of Kuprava and Kepova regions shrink most

The populations of Kuprava and Kepova counties decreased the most due to internal migration over the past 18 years, according to the Central Statistical Bureau's interactive map of internal migration in Latvia. Kuprava County in Vilaka Region and Kepova County in Dagda Region each lost 60 percent of residents in 2000-2018. Kuprava County's population decreased from 720 to 288 due to internal migration during the last 18 years - 63 residents moved to Balvi, 53 to Riga, 14 residents to Vilaka.
