PM Skvernelis welcomes figures on fewer people in poverty

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has called on July 22, "encouraging" the latest figures published by the country's statistics service, Statistics Lithuania, and showing a drop in people living below the poverty line last year. Around 215,000 people lives below the absolute poverty line in Lithuania last year, living on an income of up to 251 euros per month for one adult, or 527 euros for a family of two with two children under 14.
