Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis (Greens/Farmers) has repeatedly denied allegations that he disclosed information about Saeima member Askolds Klavins’ (Greens/Farmers) case to representatives of the Union of Greens and Farmers.
While talking to journalists, the prime minister maintained that nobody had told him in advance about Klavins’ case. Kucinskis said that the situation has been “blown out of proportion” in the runup to Latvia’s forthcoming parliamentary elections.
