TALLINN – Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas invited Estonians to value their extraordinary nature.

"It depends on all of our what country and environment our children will inherit," Ratas said in a speech on Saturday on the occasion of the Estonian nature day. He added that we all have to value and protect Estonia's extraordinary nature.

"I very much hope that the positive emotion and interest in nature we got today will accompany us the whole year. Because the nature around us is magnificent and worth discovering all year round," Ratas said. "I sincerely hope that in a hundred years when we celebrate Estonia's next great anniversary and Estonian nature day, people can still enjoy Estonia's beautiful nature."

Estonian nature day is part of the summer celebration of Estonia's centenary.
