Pilot project in Latvia aims at refugee integration

The pilot project under which two refugee families will be supplied with rent for housing for a period of six months, might serve as a model for further integration of refugees in Latvia, if successful, Economics Minister Arvils Aseradens told the press. He said that Latvia had been having trouble meeting its commitments regarding integration of refugees and one of the problems was that the allowances to refugees were insufficient for them to rent an apartment.
