A proposal of amendments concerning the system of parental leave and benefits, which among other things would establish an additional paternal leave, exited the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs on Monday, July 10.
In the first stage, the bill would give fathers an additional 30 day individual right to parental benefits, make earning an income at the same time as receiving parental benefits more flexible and enable the suspension and resumption of receiving benefits within three years, the Ministry of Social Affairs said.
