The Latvian parliament foreign affairs committee at a closed meeting today approved Ivita Burmistre as Latvia’s Ambassador to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Burmistre, who currently heads the Foreign Ministry Economic Relations and Development Co-operation Policy Department, was also present at the Saeima committee meeting to inform lawmakers about Latvia’s ongoing accession to the OECD and answer their questions.
