Latvian prime minister Maris Kucinskis believes that larger European Union member states have become aware that refugees do not want to come to Latvia.
His remarks were made to BNS on February 25, 2016.
Speaking about the migration crisis in Europe, P.M. Kucinskis noted that the solution to the problem lies in Syria.
"Only by achieving peace in Syria, the situation will be normalised and refugees will start returning,” he said. “Right now the refugee flow to Europe continues.”
