RIGA - Over half of the polled people in Latvia, or 55 percent, have described the overall situation in their country as bad, a Eurobarometer survey conducted in March shows.

This is three percentage points less when compared to a similar survey conducted in the autumn of last year.

Meanwhile, 42 percent of respondents described it was rather good or very good, which is four percentage points more than this past Autumn.

In Estonia, 70 percent of the surveyed people described the situation in their country as good and 53 percent of the surveyed Lithuanians described the situation in their country as bad.

The Eurobarometer survey was conducted from March 17 to 28 in 34 countries, including all 28 EU member states.
