Over 40 medics so far tested positive for the new coronavirus in Lithuania, the country's Health Ministry said on March 30.
The rate of coronavirus-infected medics and patients in Lithuania is one of the highest in the European Union.
"44 medics are ill," Audrius Steponavicius, director of the Public Healthcare Department at the Ministry of Health, said. In his words, there are 15 ill medics in Klaipeda, followed by 14 in Vilnius eight in Ukmerge, four in Kaunas and three in Panevezys.
