Some 15,421 full-time workers in Lithuania received a monthly salary of over 3,000 euros last October, including 12,986 in the private sector and 2,435 in the public sector, Statistics Lithuania said. The number of employees paid over 3,000 euros jumped by 4,048, or 35.6 percent, compared with a year ago. The largest numbers of those earning over 3,000 euros were in wholesale and retail trade (2,613), information and communications (2,493), and manufacturing (2,403).
