The Lithuanian government's responsible fiscal policy of the last four years has enabled Lithuania to respond adequately to the coronavirus-triggered crisis, but the unprecedented situation the global economy is facing now requires trimming unnecessary spending and directing public investment into economic transformation, outgoing Finance Minister Vilius Sapoka said in an interview to BNS on October 23.
