Organization of Pauls Stradins University Hospital to organize support for medical treatment of Ukrainian war victims

RIGA - In order to help colleagues in Ukraine who are saving lives of the Ukrainians who sustained injuries in war, the organization for development of Pauls Stradins University Hospital (PSKUS) will organize support for medical treatment of these people, LETA learned from the hospital's spokeswoman Janita Veinberga.

The fund has opened a bank account, and money donated to this account will be used for medical treatment and rehabilitation of people who have suffered in the Ukrainian freedom war.

PSKUS is also considering other practical assistance to Ukraine - admitting patients, assistance with medicines and first necessity goods to Ukrainian medical establishments.

The hospital also has raised the Ukrainian national flag to demonstrate its support for Ukraine.

As reported, last Thursday, Russia started its military invasion in Ukraine.
