On behalf of the government, Karins apologizes for shortcomings in vaccination process

RIGA - During a press conference on Thursday, Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins (New Unity) on behalf of the government apologized to the public for shortcomings in the vaccination process.

"On behalf of the entire government, I apologize to all the people who have encountered various difficulties, including insufficient information. This process can be improved, and will be improved," stressed Karins.

The premier also noted the accelerating pace of Covid-19 vaccinations this week as compared to last week.

As reported, 3,550 people receive the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday, while the second dose was administered to 152 persons, according to the National Health Service data.
