There are 84,000 fewer voters in Lithuania, eligible to vote in the municipal and mayoral elections on Sunday, than it was during the last election, the country's Central Electoral Commission said on February 25.
'Well, Lithuania is shrinking," its chair Laura Matjosaityte told a press conference today.
The final list of voters includes 2 million and 458,013 persons this year, compared to 2 million and 542,605 in 2015.
Fewer councilors will be elected this year, 1,524, compared to 1,502 four years ago.
