The number of new marriages registered in Latvia in the first half of this year grew by 260 against the same period a year ago to 4,730, according to the provisional data released on July 18 by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).
The CSB said that Latvia’s marriage rate had stabilized over the past three years, with an average of 13,000 marriages registered per annum.
