VILNIUS - Two new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Lithuania late on Tuesday, bringing the total number to three, the government said.
"They are a family living in Kaunas, husband and wife born in 1980 and 1985 (respectively). They were on a skiing trip in northern Italy between February 29 and March 6," Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga told reporters on Wednesday.
The family returned to Lithuania by car on March 7 and filed out the National Public Health Center's form, the minister said.
