Riga City Kurzeme District Court has sentenced the so-called Imanta paedophile to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting underage girls in one of Riga’s residential neighbourhoods.
The man was found guilty on all six counts of sex assault charges. The judge also gave him a probation term of three years and ordered to pay 67,000 euros total moral damages to the seven victims and 6,720 euros to the state.
The full text of the verdict will be released on June 30. After that, it can be appealed within ten days.
