RIGA - Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (New Unity) will this Friday welcome North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani who is scheduled to arrive in Latvia on a working visit, LETA was told at the Foreign Ministry.
The talks between the two countries' top diplomats are expected to focus on bilateral relations between Latvia and North Macedonia, the integration of North Macedonia and other Western Balkans countries into the European Union (EU), security situation in Europe, and other current international affairs.
During the visit, the ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia. The meeting of the two ministers will be followed by a joint news conference.
In Latvia, the North Macedonian minister is also scheduled to meet with Saeima Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rihards Kols (National Alliance) and visit the Adazi military base.
