Nortal reports fiscal year 2024 results, achieving 228.7 million in revenue

Multinational digital transformation company Nortal announced its financial results for the 2024 fiscal year, reporting consolidated revenue of €228.7 million and operating profit (EBITDA) of €27.9 million.

According to Nortal founder and CEO Priit Alamäe, 2024 was another year of volatility, marked by significant unpredictability and ongoing uncertainty. The geopolitical landscape and macroeconomic environment presented challenges that tested the entire industry.

"Despite these headwinds, we have remained focused on strengthening the foundations for sustainable growth and expansion,” Alamäe said. “Our resilient strategy and adaptable approach have positioned us well for the future—to deliver value to our clients and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape."

In 2024, the company demonstrated growth and stable results across core markets in Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East. As part of the DACH strategy Nortal has expanded the operations to Austria and further expanded its footprint in GovTech in Canada. In the UK, the company expanded via acquisition of 3DOT Solutions Limited, a well-known cybersecurity consultancy and a certified supplier to the UK Armed Forces and Intelligence Services.

Acquisitions continue to be an important part of the company’s growth strategy. “We are committed to our buy-and-build approach for expansion and plan to further grow in LATAM, North America, the UK, and the DACH region in the coming years,” Alamäe added.

Nortal continued to invest in new technologies, and AI, while strengthening its delivery and consulting capabilities to create long-term value for clients. The company made significant progress in integrating AI into its operations, and established an AI-First delivery approach, enabling teams to work alongside AI agents and laying the groundwork for hybrid human-AI teams, delivering faster, scalable, and more cost-effective solutions.

Future of defense is software-defined

In 2024, the company has also been actively investing in expanding its offerings to the defense sector and enhancing its cybersecurity services portfolio.

"We strongly believe the future of defense is increasingly software-defined. Applying the dual use principle to accelerate digital transformation in defense is key to transferring the digitalization experience that governments and organizations have built over the years into the defense sector to drive rapid innovation,” said Alamäe.

Nortal is combining its extensive experience in developing digital infrastructure for some of the world's most advanced governments with the expertise of its growing defense and cyber teams. “Our goal is to empower defense organizations in NATO and allied countries to transform their operations, services, and digital infrastructure," Alamäe added.

Earlier this year, the company announced it has been selected as an approved supplier for NATO under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) framework.
