No illegal workers found during raid in Estonia's Valga county

TALLINN – No illegal workers were discovered during a raid conducted by officials of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board and the Tax and Customs Board at construction sites in Valga county Tuesday. 

Border guard officials from the South prefecture of the Police and Border Guard Board and customs officials checked construction companies in Valga county on Tuesday to determine whether the workers working there have legal bases for stay and employment in Estonia, spokespeople for the Police and Border Guard Board said. 

In the course of the raid 34 legal persons and 94 physical persons of different nationalities were checked and no violations were detected.
