A motion of no confidence in Finance Minister Martin Helme failed in the Estonian parliament (Riigikogu) on September 23. The motion was rejected in the 101-seat chamber by a vote of 45 to 53, with no neutral votes.
Three MPs from Isamaa party -- Siim Kiisler, Viktoria Ladonskaja-Kubits and Andres Metsoja -- did not vote. The coalition of the Center Party, the Estonian Conservative People's Party (EKRE) and Isamaa commands 56 seats in the Riigikogu.
