So much gossip, so few facts. That's the way it is in the manic world of movie news. It seems that Britney Spears wants to be a Bond babe, following her meeting with the Bond Trust, which was called at the singer's request. Britney, as it's well known, "is not yet a woman," so she could perhaps play Pierce Brosnan's long lost daughter (Bond must have a few dotted around the world).
Another singer, Beyonce, has been in talks with Warner Bros. about playing Louis Lane in the much talked about remake of Superman, scheduled for release in 2006. Currently director McG is lined up to handle the big-budget project, which was originally linked with Tim Burton.
Actor Kevin Spacey was recently mistaken for a burglar at a five-star London hotel. Security were tipped off that there was an intruder on the roof, but it turned out to be Spacey, who had climbed out onto a small balcony to smoke a roll-up and enjoy the view of the capital.
