TALLINN - The Mazeikiu Nafta Trading House has begun the wholesale of the refinery's products on the Estonian market in what company officials said was the beginning of concentrating all sales of Mazeikiu refinery oil products in Estonia within the company.

"The trial period of a couple of months has now come to a point where we have started the actual wholesale of Mazeikiu Nafta's products on the Estonian market," said Tonu Aaro, managing director of the MN Trading House.
"The sales of initial amounts set aside for testing purposes has gone very well, and we can now provide our clients with both gasoline and winter diesel according to their needs."
At present, the wholesaler is using a terminal situated at Maardu for the sale of its products.
The Mazeikiu Nafta Trading House currently offers its clients diesel fuel and gasoline 95, both of which comply with EU standards. In the near future gasoline types 98 and 92 will be added to the selection.
Almost 80 percent of gasoline sold on the Estonian market comes from the Mazeikiu Nafta refinery in Lithuania.
While Estonian wholesale fuel companies have thus far purchased the gas and diesel directly from the refinery, in the future all of the products will be marketed through the refinery's trading house.
The Mazeikiu Nafta Trading House, founded in Lithuania in July of this year, is a fuel wholesaling company that belongs to Mazeikiu Nafta. The Latvian and Estonian branches were both opened later that month.
Mazeikiu Nafta comprises a refinery, a pipeline system and the Butinge crude oil terminal.
