Jazz festival offers mellow way to get into festive spirit

TALLINN - Unlike the regular Jazzkaar festival events, Christmas Jazz 2003 will be a far more intimate and reserved affair. Being a part of the Jazzkaar festival, it focuses on younger artists and alternative venues, such as churches and clubs.The Tallinn Art House will host an evening of guitar magic from Pierre Dorge and Jaak Sooaar on Dec.4 to kick things off. Then a charity concert, "Help Start a Life," will take place Dec.7 at Tallinn's Kaarli church.
