The government has supported a bill to fully reimburse language-training expenses to people who pass the Estonian language exam required for receiving citizenship. Prime Minister Juhan Parts said free language courses would be a motivating factor for residents to apply for Estonian citizenship. It is yet unclear what will be the upper limit for the cost of the language training, but the government estimated the compensations would require about 3 million kroons (191,000 euros) per year.Next May Estonia will return to Germany a precious painting by Albrecht Durer that was accidentally seized...
