Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk is set to visit Latvia next week, sources tell LETA.
During the visit, Yatsenyuk will participate in a meeting of the European People's Party (EPP) Group Bureau in Jurmala.
The EPP meeting in Jurmala will be held on November 19 - 21 to discuss the pending European Union reforms and the EU's position on Ukraine crisis.
The EPP Group's head Manfred Weber will open the meeting in Jurmala, whereas Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma (Unity) will inform the EPP members about the priorities of Latvia's Presidency of the EU Council.
Also participating in the meeting will be MEP Sandra Kalniete (Unity), NATO Deputy Secretary-General Alexander Vershbow, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis (Unity), European Commissioner for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness Jyrki Katainen, Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labor Mobility Commissioner Marianne Thyssen, Spanish Finance Minister Luis de Guindos, European Investment Bank Vice-President Wilhelm Molterer, and Bank of Latvia President Ilmars Rimsevics.
