Changing of the diplomatic guard: Poroshenko still to give reasons for recalling ambassadors

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has recalled the country's ambassadors to Latvia, Moldova and Canada.

In an announcement, Poroshenko stated that he is recalling Ukrainian Ambassador to Latvia Anatoliy Oliynyk, Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Sergei Pirozhkov and Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Vadim Pristaiko.

Ukraine's official representative at the International Civil Aviation Organization has also been recalled.

Poroshenko did not include any reasoning for recalling these ambassadors, and has not named any replacements so far.

Oliynyk has served as Ukrainian ambassador to Latvia since May of 2011.
