A list of the world's top universities includes seven from the Baltic states
Estonia tops the list out of the Baltics, with the University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology on the list.
Latvia is represented by the University of Latvia, making the list for a second year in a row.
Three Lithuanian universities are represented including Kaunas Technology University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, and Vytautas Magnus University.
The QS World University Rankings ranks the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the U.S. as number one followed by is 1st, followed by University of Cambridge, and Imperial College London. A total of 800 universities are included on the list.
