Baltic states set up special group to counter terror groups

Security services in the Baltics will rapidly neutralise separatists or terrorist groups if they emerge in the region under new plans.It comes after Interior Ministers of the three Baltic states met in Lithuania on Friday. Lithuanian Interior Minister Dailis Alfonsas Barakauskas said specialists will be assigned immediately to model how relative institutions in the Baltic states should operate in case of a threat to public security in any of the three countries, ELTA reports.Hanno Pevkur, Estonia's Interior Minister urged his fellow Baltic officials to strengthen ...
