Hundreds have rallied outside the Russian embassy in Latvia amid the crisis in the Ukraine.
Protesters dressed in the colors of the Ukrainian flag chanted slogans and held up anti Putin and Russia placards.
Member of of the Latvian Ukrainian Congress, TatjanaLazda told LETA that the participants in the rally expressed their viewpoint about "Russia as the aggressor, as well as about our own state officials and allies."
Russia has denied sending troops in to eastern Ukraine.
Latvian government officials including Sarmite Elerte and the Environmental Protection and Regional Development Ministry's parliamentary secretary Einars Cilinskis also attended the protest, LETA reports.
Rally organizers later headed to the British embassy in Riga with calls for Great Britain and the United States to react to Russia's aggression in Ukraine.
