Tallinn might be tiny compared to other capitals in Europe and worldwide, but it is still very rich and unique in sights – the Old Town and the city wall with its towers. It is nonetheless difficult to describe all these sights in just a few words – one must see them in person.
One way to tour the city is by running through it. Yes, by taking part in this month’s upcoming marathon.
The SEB Tallinn Marathon will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14, in Tallinn’s City Center. The marathon is organized by Sport Event Team, in cooperation with the Tallinn City government and sponsors.

Kid’s races, half-marathons, a 10k race, all sorts of events will be available to participate in over the weekend.
The competition center is located on Vabaduse square (Freedom square), with the start of the race at 9:00 a.m. at the intersection Parnu and Valli streets.

The marathon will consist of 2 laps (2 x 21.1 km) around the city.
Registration takes place online at www.tallinnmarathon.ee, or in the Race office on Freedom Square, from Sept. 10-13 and in the morning of the competition day, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
