Latvia's oldest Russian language newspaper will cease publishing after 23 years, the ITAR-TASS news agency reports,
Bizness & Baltija, which reports business news in the Baltics, will cease publishing its print edition as of September, the firm reports.
The newspaper's editor-in-chief Andrejs Svedovs explains that the newspaper will concentrate solely on its on-line version.
''Our readers are on the Internet for quite a while now. We intend to follow our readers,'' Svedovs said.
Bizness & Baltija' has been published since 1991, and is the oldest Russian language newspaper in Latvia.
