Lithuania president forms new government

President Dalia Grybauskaite has unveiled the new government of Lithuania replete with new ministers.

Acting in conformity with the Constitution and based on the submission made by the prime minister, the president signed a decree approving the new government of Lithuania on July 16.

The composition of the Government is as follows: Virginija Baltraitiene - Minister of Agriculture, Dailis Alfonsas Barakauskas - Minister of the Interior, Juozas Bernatonis - Minister of Justice, Sarunas Birutis - Minister of Culture, Evaldas Gustas - Minister of Economy, Linas Linkevicius - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jaroslav Neverovic - Minister of Energy, Juozas Olekas - Minister of National Defence, Algimanta Pabedinskiene - Minister of Social Security and Labour, Dainius Pavalkis - Minister of Education and Science, Rimantas Sinkevicius - Minister of Transport and Communications, Rimantas Sadzius - Minister of Finance, Rimante Salaseviciete - Minister of Health Care, Kestutis Treciokas - Minister of Environment.
