Congress urges government to kick out pro Russia party

The Latvian Ukrainian Congress has called on the the government to ban Tatjana Zdanoka MEP's party Union of Russians (former For Human Rights in a United Latvia) from operating in Latvia after claiming her actions affect the 'territorial integrity' of the country.

Zdanoka organized an event at the European Parliament this week, which she referred to as "meeting with the victims and witnesses of May 2 Odessa slaughter mass murders.

According to event organizers, there was a conflict between "the federalization supporters and anti-Fascists on one side and neo-Nazis of the Right sector and football hooligans on another." 

Zdanoka said before that "43 supporters of Ukraine's federalization were burnt alive by the Right Sector, stirring controversy in some sectors. 

Zdanoka previously visited the annexed Crimea during a referendum on whether the region should join Russia.
