Pop star Enrique Iglesias set to perform in Latvia

Latin pop star Enrique Iglesias is set to perform in Latvia later this year. 

Iglesias will perform in Arena Riga on December 4. The concert in Latvia will be a part of the musician's world concert tour, promoting his newest album "Sex and Love". It will be the second singer's performance in Riga. The first concert in 2009 was sold out.

Iglesias's 10th studio album "Sex and Love" was released in the spring; it was the third of his albums which made it into the respectable "Billboard Top 10". Three album singles in Spanish - "Loco", "El Perdedor" and "Bailando" reached the first position in "Billboard Hot Latin Songs" chart. The album also features musicians including Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue and Pitbull.

The album's newest single Bailando remains in first place in the "Billboard Hot Latin Songs" already for eight weeks in succession, and recently the version of this song in English has been released.

The musician himself says that the song's video clip, where Cuban flamenco dancers collaborate with street dancers, is one of his most favorite videos. ''I think, it has great choreography, the dancers are really excellent." the singer said.

Iglesias has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, thus he is one of the most successful Spanish singers of all times. Five of his singles have reached the top five positions in the "Billboard Hot 100", two of them have been in the first position.

Tickets will be available from Thursday, July 10, from 10 am. at www.ticketpro.lv and Ticketpro booths in supermarkets. Galleria Riga, Spice, Domina Shopping, Rīga Plaza, Sky&More, Olimpia, Rimi Alfa, Rimi Valdemārs"", "Rimi" on Pulkveža Brieža Street will also sell tickets. Ticket prices begin from 39 euros.
