Rainy and cool weather remain forecast for Latvia until Thursday, with weather conditions expected to gradually improve from Friday onwards, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center has said.
Rainy weather is forecast throughout the country on July 1, with strong rains and even thunderstorms also likely in some areas of the country.
The temperature during the day will be from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius, whilst temperatures at night will be from nine to 15 degrees Celsius.
Partly-sunny weather is expected from Friday, with warmer temperatures as well. The temperature during the day this upcoming weekend will be from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, while temperatures at night will be from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius, LETA reports.
