Prince Harry visits troops in Tallinn

His Royal Highness Prince Harry visited Toompea Castle on Friday, May 16 and met with members of the government and the parliament, as well as with Estonian soldiers who had been wounded in Afghanistan, reports LETA.

"It is a great honor for Estonia that a member of the British royal family came here to meet our soldiers and to thank them in person for their services in Afghanistan," said President of the Riigikogu Eiki Nestor in his welcoming address.

Many soldiers whom Prince Harry met and chatted with in the Riigikogu have been treated in the Headley Court clinic in the United Kingdom together with British soldiers. Prince Harry decided to make the two day visit to thank the Estonian nation and the Estonian Defense Forces for their cooperation in Afghanistan.
