AirBaltic reports annual profit for 2013

Latvian national airline airBaltic operated with a 961,000 euro profit last year, the company's CEO Martins Gauss said at a special press conference on April 2, reports Nozare.lv.

Meanwhile, the company achieved 325 million euros in turnover last year.

In 2012, the company announced its business re-shape plan in order to return the airline to profitability and long-term development.

AirBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga. The airline was established in 1995. The primary shareholder is the Latvian state with 99.8 percent of shares.
