March 16 events off-limits for ministers

The Latvian government voted on March 11 to forbid ministers to attend March 16 events, Interior Minister Rihards Kozlovskis told members of the press, reports LETA. Meanwhile, the only minister who was planning on participating in the March 16 events, Environmental Protection and Regional Development Minister Einars Cilninskis (VL-TB/LNNK), did not, after the vote, reveal his intentions regarding March 16.After evaluating information from security structures, government ministers agreed on such a decision.
