Lithuania will present plans to tackle the illegal smuggling of goods including alcohol cigarettes and fuel.
Proposals will include placing new tax stamps on alcohol and cigarettes, reports ELTA.
"The release of the new tax stamps will allow the strengthening of controls," said Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius.
Moreover, Butkevicius highlighted that it was planned to strengthen the control on the fuel imported to Lithuania.
The plans will be presented by the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI), the Customs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Finance.
