Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves is to visit the Latvian border town of Rujiena (northern Latvia) today (Jan. 2) to purchase his favorite ice cream ‘Rujiena’ with the new euro currency and congratulate Latvia on introducing the euro, reports LETA.At the end of June, when EU state and government leaders expressed support for Latvia's accession to the eurozone, Ilves wrote in his "Twitter" account - "Apsveicu!
