YOUNG JOURNALIST COMPETITION

The Baltic Times is giving you a chance to win some top prizes and a three month internship with the only English language newspaper in the region.

All you have to do is write a 1,800 word feature article on either two topics of our choice (see below)
The article should include fresh quotes, photos and top analysis suitable for publication in the newspaper.

 

 

 

Entry details

Word count is 1,800.Deadline is January 25, 2014.The topic is: ‘Estonia and Latvia have joined the euro. What’s next for Lithuania?’ or ‘Baltic-Russia relations: is there light at the end of the tunnel?’The articles will be judged by a panel of professional journalists.The winners will be announced on The Baltic Times blog a few weeks after the deadline.Contestants should email the article with their name, email and school address to [email protected] and [email protected].
